Just got it but really like it.
Shouldn't the LED screen light up? Makes it so hard to read.

Great Purchase!
I was looking for a sewing machine that met all my quilting / sewing needs and I found it in this brother sewing machine. It does all kinds of decortive stitiches at first I was truly nervous because its computerize, no worries it is user friendly! This sewing machine is a great investment for me. I love my sewing machine. Brother has do it again!

I really like my compurtized sewing machine
Hi, I have the CS-770 Computerized Sewing machine, and I just love it. I am trying to get my friend to send back the Singer sewing machine she just got and get this one. It is so easy to use. I do alterations for people and I use it allot every day. There are a couple of things, would be nice if they could do something about it on future machines. (1) My thread winds around the thread holder, and makes it stop after so mush thread has wound around, (2) On the needle threader, I think it should have a loop to put the thread through instead of that hook like thing that you lay the thread on the top. It slides over the top sometimes. (3) That first part where you thread the thread through should also be a loop before it goes down the front. It jumps out of that sometime when you are sewing and has to be rethreaded. Let me know when you add those things to the new sewing machines. I also like that you put the white paint in back of where you thread the needle. I was putting white tape there before you and other kinds of sewing machines started doing that. I hope you will fix the future machines the way I suggested. Thanks, Carolyn

Great value and great machine
I don't actually have THIS model. I have the Project Runway Edition (CE-5000PRW) but it has the SAME features and stitches. I've owned my little gem for almost 2 years now and I love it. So easy to use and I love the buttonhole feature! A definite time saver. The only complaint that I have is that it does not do heavy duty fabrics like denim. Oh well, I don't sew heavy materials that often and when I do I'll just use my mother's machine.

EXCEPTIONAL MACHINE!
I thought I would miss the auto-bobbin wind on my Singer, but it's SO easy to wind bobbins with this machine! It practically does all the work for you! Also, the fact that I don't have to raise the bobbin thread (just drop in the bobbin in the right way) is a SUPER PLUS!!! I am still trying to find a cover for my machine and thus far, only Hancock Fabrics has one. 22 years ago my first (Christmas present) sewing machine was a VERY SIMPLE Brother (only forward & back, straight & zigzag stitches) bought by my husband (married only 1 month!) from a Hancock Fabrics store and I eventually simply wore the poor thing out. This one makes up for all those past years. and I am so EXCITED to try every stitch function, & maybe even try QUILTING with it!
