Average Review:   Number of reviews: 1   A reviewer from Conway Arkansas very sturdy sewing machine tote I have this lovely floral tapestry in addition to the brown/tan abstract that is identical except for pattern - so I'm duplicating my review. The inside is amazingly roomy for my full size Janome, plenty of room left over. My machine is 16" long and there's a good 2" to spare for a longer machine. Front to back - my machine is 7" with an inch to spare, 8" spec is correct. Janome is 12" high counting the wide spool cap which sticks up - room for another couple of inches of machine. 14" is actually an inch taller than the 13" stated for inside measurement for height. Lots of storage compartments with good strong zippers - 6 on the outside and 3 more on the inside, two small ones on the inside back that are removable (velcro) and one in the lid. The large front zipper compartment has an inside measurement of 10.5 x 13 for papers/patterns. The framework and rolling handle is sturdy feeling, nice padding. There isn't a separate lifting/carrying handle but as far as lifting it in and out of the car I can easily grasp the sides of the lid around the zipper and get a good strong grip on it to lift it. This is the best price I found anywhere for a good way to get your machine to classes. If you plan to take it on a plane you would need to invest in one made for air travel with securing straps and more padding. This suits my need just perfect and I'm very happy with my purchase :o)
