There is nothing I can't sew on this serger that I used my regular sewing machine for. As a matter of face 2 Easter bunny quilts were sewn up with the serger. Thanks for everyone help. It can handle a variety of fabric weights and is well worth the money spent. I plan to purchase a second one to assist with my production volume. I would highly reccomend it. The rolled hemming function is also great! In fact, the features are very good. I teach sewing lessons and plan to add a serger class to my schedule very soon. The only weak area is with the video...VHS...need to convert to a CD quick to keep up with the technological times. I can honestly say this one is just as good. It purrs like a kitten, is easy to thread, and does a fantastic job. I highly recommend it.
