We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you find that you need to return an item, please review the complete details of our return policy below to determine if any special return conditions apply.

HancockFabrics.com wants to ensure you are completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, return it within 60 days for a refund on the price of the product.

Items must be repacked in original packaging with all accessories and a copy of your invoice.

HancockFabrics.com does not accept returns or give refunds on any fabric that has been cut by the customer. Fabric quantities less than one yard in length cannot be returned. Opened computer software or DVD's can be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund.

When your return is processed, we will issue a refund to your credit card account for the price of the product and sales tax. If the product you received is not what you ordered we will provide a return shipping label.

Returns sent COD or collect will not be accepted.

Our retail stores do not accept returns or exchanges of items purchased at www.hancockfabrics.com.

Items may be returned within 60 days of the ship date for a refund. If you would like to replace the item you have returned, please place a new order. While most items are returnable, they are subject to the following guidelines:

Defective, Damaged or Mis-shipped Items

You will receive a refund for the item(s) and shipping and handling costs for defective, damaged or misshipped items. For all other items, shipping and handling costs cannot be refunded. (Note: Return shipping cost refunds are calculated using the lowest cost shipping method. Items returned via expedited shipping methods will only be refunded an amount equal to the lowest cost shipping method).

To request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) for an item, please log into "Your Account" on the store from which your purchase was made. Then choose the appropriate order number to process a return request for the item within the return period stated above.

Returns will not be accepted without a RA number. RA numbers will expire after 10 days, and the item will not be accepted if it is returned after that timeframe. Please include the RA number on the outside of the shipping package. (Please do not write directly on the manufacturer's box).

Returning an item(s) may change or void coupon discounts or refunds currently appearing on an order.

For your protection, please send your return prepaid via a shipping service that can be tracked, such as UPS. Please be sure to keep your receipt. We cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-trackable method.

Credits are processed upon confirmation of the return by our suppliers. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the return credit to appear on your credit card statement. If credit cannot be issued to your credit card, a store credit will be issued.

Returning an Item

Before returning an item, please read our Return Policy above to make sure that your item is returnable.

Return Requests can be processed by logging into "Your Account."

Please note that orders in the "Processing" or "Closed" status may allow a return request, if the item has not passed the return timeframe.

Results are displayed in the "Status" column and may take up to 5 business days to update.

To request a return for an item, follow these steps:

  • Log into "Your Account."

  • From "Managing Your Account," click the "Continue" button for "Order Status."

  • Click on the Order # to process a return request.
    Please Note: Returns may only be requested on orders in "Processing" or "Closed" Status.

  • Click on "Return Shipped Items."

  • Review the item available for return request and choose "click here to return this item."

  • Enter a "Reason" for the Return Request

  • Enter a "Comment", if necessary.

  • Click the "Return" button to receive the Return Authorization or additional information regarding your return request.
