Difficult to work with because it frays worse than any other cotton I ever worked with. Also stretches. It helps to cut all strips on the length of the fabric. Strips cut from cross grain stretch so that it's impossible to put two identical length strips together and have them end up the same length. I used white, red and black. All three did this with red being worse than the others. Stick with Kona
