I make costumes and need to change thread colors often but don't want too many bobbins around. Recently I bought a new sewing machine that uses different size bobbins. Rather than unwind the bobbins and discard the thread, I am able to quickly and easily transfer thread from one size bobbin to another, then store it away until I need it again. I love the Sidewinder!   A reviewer from CO Side winder I had no idea how much I was going to use this little machine when I bought it. I love that I can use it to wind bobbins with out getting out my machine (like for an up coming class). When I run out in the middle of a project I can just wind another bobbin without unthreading my machine and loosing my place. It winds evenly and all on battery power although you have the option of plugging it in.   A reviewer from CO Great product I originally bought this because the winder was broken on my back up sewing machine. I used it to wind bobbins for my serger, for small projects. Wow. Fast, fast, fast!! I'm so glad I have it. No sewing interruptions!
